The Ministry of Communication sent a memo yesterday to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) asking them to block several social networking sites, including the popular Tagged and Skype sites. Websites like Facebook and MySpace have a huge following in Kuwait, and even candidates in the upcoming elections have tried to use these sites to their advantage by reaching out to potential voters.
