29 bad websites: The Nation
21-05-08
[FACT comments: This is the first time since January 2004 that anyone in Thai government has made public a list of websites to block and FACTsite isn't even on it!
FACT urges all readers to look at these Websites by proxy, some of which are already illegally blocked without court order as required by the Computer-Related Crimes Act. Decide for yourself if Websites are a serious threat to Thailand or...if they're just words and opinions. Think for yourself!
Blocking these websites cannot legally be accomplished using the Internal Security Act nor the Cybercrime Law without a court order. Furthermore, at least one site, Midnight University, continues to be protected against blocking by a restraining order issued by the Administrative Court.
The real question: is Thailand's monarchy so fragile as to be toppled by a few websites?!?]
