Former prime minister Chavalit Yongchaiyudh yesterday advised ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra to clarify the lese majeste allegations directed against him, according to an inside source…One of the grounds which the military used when they toppled Mr Thaksin in the 2006 coup were allegations of lese majeste against him…He suggested that Mr Thaksin clear the air over the lese majeste allegations and seek a royal audience...Gen Chavalit had previously claimed there was a movement to bring down the constitutional monarchy.

i don’t think “Thaksin clear the air over…” would help. Because all this time, Thaksin and friends have been telling us that he respect to the King, not lèse-majesté.
And i don’t think the King will come out to the public and say anything. He’s never done that.
